Cateechee Golf Club
Cateechee Golf Club, located northeast of Atlanta in beautiful Hartwell, Georgia, opened for play in 1999. At that time it was one of the most acclaimed new golf courses around. Over time, it matures like a fine wine and continues to get better with age. Having received numerous accolades from Golf Digest, members and guests frequently drive from as far away as South Georgia to enjoy this dramatic Mike Young design.

In the tradition of true Scottish architects, after which Young modeled Cateechee, the course takes advantage of the terrain. David Cohn, 12/9/2012 7:24:59 PM EST Played the course the day before Thanksgiving. The course was in fantastic shape. As a Texas Canongate member, it was great to be able to play courses which are a lot different than our home courses in Texas. The numerous elevation changes were very challenging.

The unique layout through all of the elevation changes is great. Take the time to challenge your golf game in great conditions. You won't regret your choice to play at Cateechee.
