Heron Bay features a beautiful 18-hole, par-72 Championship Golf Course stretching out to over 7,300 yards from the back tees. Carefully designed and crafted by acclaimed architect Jeff Burton, the course blends perfectly with the community’s natural surroundings and features state-of-the-art Tif Sport Bermuda fairways and bentgrass greens. Numerous golf holes have lake features. The third and thirteenth greens are both adjacent to Henry County’s 1,100-acre Cole Reservoir, providing golfers with spectacular views.

Golfers will enjoy a beautiful clubhouse with a fully-stocked Pro Shop and dining facility, as well as an adjacent driving range and practice green.

Swimming
Heron Bay offers fun for the entire family all summer long with access to a swimming pool at Heron Bay Golf Club. Membership also includes access to 9 other swimming pools at other Canongate facilities. The pool is open from May 24th to August 1st, from 11:00 a.m. – 7:00 p.m. The snack bar is open from 11:00 a.m. - 4:00 p.m. From August 1st to September 1st the pool is open Monday-Friday from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m(from 11:00 a.m. until 4:00 p.m. you may swim at your own risk), Saturday and Sunday from 11:00 a.m. to 7:00 p.m. The snack bar is open weekends only.
